About Us

Ife Ooye Progressive Union, New Jersey Chapter, the umbrella body of the indigenes of Ile Ife, in New Jersey area and its environ, was established sometimes in 2005, as a non-profit organization, with a 501(c) status.

We collectively decided to come together as a body, purposely for the goal of finding a unique way to contribute our own quota to the development and the growth of our great city, the cradle of the human race, Ile Ife, in the area of economic growth,  cultural empowerment and historical proficiencies. 

Love for each other, as members, have since been holding us together for the past 12 years, and to God be the glory, we are still waxing stronger at every front.

The qualifying factor for the membership of the organization is to be a full blooded native son of the soil. The membership is open to the residents of New Jersey and its environs.

The organization has been able to achieve a lot for the glory of Ile-Ife, within the last decade of our existence.
